Lauren is an Events Producer with over 14 years of experience in event production, client relations and project management. She has produced and collaborated in the production of some of South Africa’s most prestigious events.

Her production and logistics expertise, unparalleled level of attention to detail and creative flair has gained her highly esteemed industry reputation. Her personal hands on approach to every client means that her delivery is nothing less then exceptional.

Al wood, concierge director

Al Wood has over 16 years experiences in providing premium conciege and lifestyle management services. She has travelled the world extenisvely and gained global recognition in the travel and hospitality industry. Her incredible zest for life and passion for problem solving contributes to her unparalleled level of excellence as Cape Town’s go-to girl.

She provides an authentic, entirely bespoke service that ensures you are living your best life, whether you’re experiencing South Africa or Europe. Bringing eight years of eventing and media experience to the table, Rochelle has had a hand in experiences with brands such as Hunters, MTV, Cosmopolitan and Apolitical Academy.

A diverse range from publications, concerts and political events, locally and in Africa, Rochelle understands the event and audience landscapes.

With experience in digital marketing, traditional as well as publicity, on top of events, Rochelle brings a holistic approach to event production and management ensuring all aspects of the event has been achieved.

Melani Le Roux,  Ambassador Management

With 10 years of experience including retail, marketing and client management service in the South African  market, Melani has left a trail of success stories at every store and retail space she had a hand in. She has worked with clients of all ages affording her an excellent understanding of customer needs and expectations.

She found her ultimate passion when joining a leading Promotions and Events Company as a Campaign Manager. Here she managed a large team of brand ambassadors who were responsible for promoting and marketing each client’s product and best interests in accordance with tailor-made campaigns to suit their individual requirements.

She brings with her years of understanding different personalities and the need to meet requirements and understand each detail and potential outcome.

Raine Tauber, Talent Director

18 years ago Raine began her career as a make-up artist in Cape Town and worked steadily to become one of SA’s most in-demand editorial artists. She  has worked on runway fashion shows in Milan, Paris and London for Fashion  Week, working on A-List celebrities and models.


Raine has headed up AFI  Fashion Week locally, for the last 10 years. It was her time as a freelance  makeup artist working extensively on set with leading international and local  brands that inspired her to lead an agency.

Nikki Sher, Operations Director

Nikki has over 10 years project management experience within the fashion and creative industry. Key focuses include start to finish project management, team building and client / stakeholder relationship management.  7 years at African Fashion International leading production of Africa’s biggest Fashion Week.

Awards Manager for the Loerie awards; Africa’s most renowned Creative Awards and affiliate with Cannes Lions and the Creative Circle. Her passions include  helping and supporting those around me to achieve their own goals.

Robyn Newman, Project Manager

20 years of customer service experience and working closely with people from all walks of life has afforded Robyn the opportunity to grow as a strategic thinker with  excellent relationship building skills and the ability to identify and leverage talent.  She qualified as a professional fashion designer, worked as a stylist for Marie Claire,  then became a makeup artist and trainer for 10 years. There she had the privilege of  working on several fashion weeks and other industry related events where she was  able to really flex her creative muscle.


Her great reward was assisting teams and  managers in improving productivity, artistry and interpersonal skills among other  operational and organisational facets of the role. Being highly motivated, ethical and  efficient, she is accustomed to working in high pressure environments and is task  oriented, dependable and responsible.


Alexandra has extensive experience in Beauty Industry Events through multiple channels, covering everything from Membership Recruitment drives and spa parties to equipment demonstrations for laser EMS, Silhouette / Body Contour machines and Carboxytherapy. Her specialty lies in luxury product training and education events for corporate / upper management and frontline retail.

Alexandra’s ability to demonstrate effective merchandising and selling techniques, combined with her insider knowledge of luxury skincare and perfume made her an in-demand trainer throughout the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia for major brands and retailers. Alexandra brings her ability to focus in on the client’s needs and manage multiple moving parts as well as her experience and in depth lifestyle product knowledge to all LMDA Events.

Oliver Baillie, ceo

Ollie has over 15 years’ experience leading and advising businesses within Technology and Finance. Starting his career for Barclays in London, he has subsequently led businesses for global corporates, start-ups and scale-ups across UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Africa.

 As Co-Founder and CEO of LMDA, Ollie is responsible for ensuring that LMDA delivers on its mission to empower African Lifestyle businesses and creative entrepreneurs to grow and thrive online. Ollie is particularly passionate about leveraging technology to deliver pioneering event experiences that make an impact.
